Weaving Demonstration by Ruth Simmonds
Ruth took up weaving after a good number of years as an academic. Based at The Cut, she weaves using a 24 shaft floor loom and uses mainly silk yarns. She will talk about her weaving practice in terms of the making (the how) and about designing (the why) with some examples for you to admire.
Please bring £4 to cover any costs.
